“Steve Reynolds not only revolutionized our show, but changed our lives. With Steve’s help, we became the show we always thought we could be. Thank you, Steve, for helping us reach our full potential. We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – Steve is the strategic weapon in your radio arsenal…the secret ingredient that the competition wishes they had.”

Sean Henry, KOSI, Denver

“Before Steve started working with me, I was doing a certain kind of radio. Bad radio. Steve taught me to open myself up to the listeners in ways that have brought us all closer together. My skills and my morning show have come light years forward since we met. Thanks Steve!!”

Brian Lord, WRAL-FM, Raleigh, NC

“Steve’s attributes as a coach are unmatched. It’s not only his knowledge of the industry, it’s his organizational skills, work ethic and personable nature that truly make him the best. Steve’s advice pillars on giving listeners entertaining and relatable content. His method is a proven winner.”

WQYK Hello

wqyk_daveveronica_500x350The parodies of Adele’s hit “Hello” seemed to be endless.  Turn left, right, move forward or backward, and people were having fun with this song.  Even Adele did, too.  When silliness abounds, Dave and Veronica, WQYK, Tampa are in as well.  Here’s a break done using other songs with the word “hello” on their show.  A break like this can be perceived as very cheesy if not presented properly.  That’s not the case here as everyone in the room is in on the joke.  Sometimes shows will miss having more fun with the shorter list of Hot Topics each day and grab a topic with less equity.  Listeners gravitate to what’s familiar when they wake up.  This is why it’s so critical to know the topics of the day (those with a very high level of familiarity) and come up with more things to do around them than wade into less-than topics which require the audience to use their brain to comprehend.

Who Got Them Gifts?

Here’s an easy character development game you can play just back from vacation called “Who Got Them Gifts?”  This is a test to see how well the audience knows you.  List for the audience several gifts a cast member got for Christmas (make sure to throw in a few odd ones).  Listeners must guess which person on the show received that bounty!
