How do you take an established morning guy with 30 years on the station and convince him and his team to update the show?
The big things I did: take away some of the restrictions placed on the show (done in an effort to manage PPM), taught them strategy, developed some fun features, and got the cast (Hawkeye and Katelyn) to be more vulnerable with the audience in sharing their life, all while creating fun in the process.
We’ve gotten all those elements in place, and the show has quickly risen from #7 to #2 W25-54 and P25-54 in a few short months.
